Triond and Expertscolumn Rates Compared

If you and I are friends in Facebook, you'll know that I have been writing for Expertscolumn lately. If you're also following my Triond blog, you would know that I am looking for ways in earning a dollar a day in Triond. That's a consistent dollar a day. Not a dollar to day, and 70cents today, and 60cents the next day. And if you are already earning a dollar a day in Triond, I would be much obliged if you share with me your tricks. ;)

Anyway, Triond and Expertscolumn are the 2 sites I am working on at the moment. I am earning 10-20cents daily with Expertscolumn with my 20 articles (and growing). On the other hand, I have 119 articles in Triond which gives me 60-80cents daily. (For this month however, I am expecting as low as 30cents a day in Triond since I have not been promoting my links as I usually do. As opposed to the other online marketers, December is my lazy month. I'm going for a vacation soon and I don't want to bring the hype of getting Triond views while I am away.)

I've only started writing for Expertcolumn last November so I don't have a strong baseline of comparison between Triond and Expertscolumn. However, I have my raw data from all my Triond articles and I have Expertscolumn' published rates. Let's start from there.

Expertscolumn says that it gives $1.50 for every 1000 views or .0015cents per view. No Google adsense necessarily. No clicked ads considered.

On Triond's corner, the rates given varies from site to site where our articles are published. I am often publishing articles on Healthmad, one of its high-paying sites. You can also choose to publish with Scienceray, Socyberty and Gameolosophy. I searches among my articles with 1000 views at least in order to complete my comparison between Triond and Expertscolumn.

Here's what I found.

Health Benefits of Eating Eggs earns .0018c per click or $1.32 for 702 clicks and a promising $1.869 for 1000 clicks...
Health Benefits of Eating Watermelons earns .0016 per click or $1.86 for 1,161 clicks and counting...
Health Benefits of Eating Bananas earns .00179 per click or $1.84 for its 1027 clicks and counting...

It's honestly surprising for me to know that Healthmad articles alone have earn higher rates than Expertscolumn articles which is .0015cents. I also checked the rates of Gameolosophy, Quazen and Socyberty since I have a few in those sites. It turns out that Gameolosophy articles earn us about .0017cents per view; Quazen, .0007cents and Socyberty, .0010cents.

Given these rates, I will choose to write health and gaming articles with Triond and the rest with Expertscolumn. I hope this simple analysis helps you decide which site to write for, as well.

Writing online for money? So am I!

Do you enjoy writing online for money? Me, yes especially now that I just received December's payment from Triond. If you're still wondering whether the site is paying or otherwise, here's a proof to you that Triond pays.

I've been writing for Triond since October 2010. I'm writing online for me and I am enjoying it. However, it is not always fun and joy. Increasing views and traffic for my Triond articles are both fun and frustrating, actually. Sometimes the pay is great; sometime it is not. It's typical for someone writing online for money, I guess.

See, I received my first payment in Triond after more than 2 months after my first ever article. 2 long and boring months. That is frustrating! I didn't know what I was doing online. I didn't know what writing online for money means. All I knew was that there is money online. There is money in writing.  I thought that Triond may be one of my gateways to do just that. And indeed it is. Triond helped me make money online.

Writing online for money is not as hard nor as easy as what others would say. It really depends on one's passion, one's skill and one's time. I learned that writing online for money takes more than just the writing skill; though it starts there. Writing online for money is a learning process where one needs to learn several SEO techniques here and there in order to get article links noticed by search engines, by forums, by other writing sites. Writing online for money is a hobby (or a career) that needs a audience. The bigger the audience, the bigger the money.

Writing online for money will help me earn $100, $300, $500 and even thousands in a month. One day, you'll see. ;) This is how I would like to rake money from the internet, writing.

Right now, Triond and Expertscolumn are the 2 sites that help my writing online for money dream a reality. $13.74 today, $1374.00 tomorrow; perhaps and even $13,740.00 in the future. Yeap, that's the dream!

Now, we like writing online for money as well? How is it, so far?

Republish Articles to Get Ahead: Good or Bad Idea?

Do you republish articles to different publishing sites? At the moment, I don't republish articles.

I'm not against it. I'm even encouraging other freelance writers to do so since that means extra views and money for their works. To republish articles in Wikinut, Bukisa or Expertscolumn, is like hitting 2 and even more birds in one stone. There are several free article publishing sites that currently allow one to republish articles to other sites.

On the other hand, I am reserving my right to do so (at the moment). I'm writing for Triond and Expertscolumn. Though, I know I can easily click republish articles (a.k.a. copy-paste) from Triond to the other site, something tells me not too. Perhaps it’s because I am still enjoying the thrill of writing.

It’s not a matter of moral standards, as well. I am writing online for money, first of all. When I see an opportunity online, I would often grab it. Publishing articles that I have in Triond really sound appealing; however, I'll keep on writing original content and NOT republish articles for now. I know I can republish all my articles in the future, anyway. Lol! There's no rush.

Besides, I’m challenging myself not to succumb to the hype of article republishing. I’d like to share original contents as long as I can. I’m more into finding ways to promote my works and learning SEO techniques to get organic views.

In light of writing money, there are certainly many ways to make money online. Republish articles is definitely one of those. If you plan to republish articles though, make sure that the Terms of Service (TOS) of your article publisher or websites allows you to do so. In the case of Helium for instance, it has a 1 year hold period before you may republish articles from them elsewhere.
