Triond and Expertscolumn Rates Compared

If you and I are friends in Facebook, you'll know that I have been writing for Expertscolumn lately. If you're also following my Triond blog, you would know that I am looking for ways in earning a dollar a day in Triond. That's a consistent dollar a day. Not a dollar to day, and 70cents today, and 60cents the next day. And if you are already earning a dollar a day in Triond, I would be much obliged if you share with me your tricks. ;)

Anyway, Triond and Expertscolumn are the 2 sites I am working on at the moment. I am earning 10-20cents daily with Expertscolumn with my 20 articles (and growing). On the other hand, I have 119 articles in Triond which gives me 60-80cents daily. (For this month however, I am expecting as low as 30cents a day in Triond since I have not been promoting my links as I usually do. As opposed to the other online marketers, December is my lazy month. I'm going for a vacation soon and I don't want to bring the hype of getting Triond views while I am away.)

I've only started writing for Expertcolumn last November so I don't have a strong baseline of comparison between Triond and Expertscolumn. However, I have my raw data from all my Triond articles and I have Expertscolumn' published rates. Let's start from there.

Expertscolumn says that it gives $1.50 for every 1000 views or .0015cents per view. No Google adsense necessarily. No clicked ads considered.

On Triond's corner, the rates given varies from site to site where our articles are published. I am often publishing articles on Healthmad, one of its high-paying sites. You can also choose to publish with Scienceray, Socyberty and Gameolosophy. I searches among my articles with 1000 views at least in order to complete my comparison between Triond and Expertscolumn.

Here's what I found.

Health Benefits of Eating Eggs earns .0018c per click or $1.32 for 702 clicks and a promising $1.869 for 1000 clicks...
Health Benefits of Eating Watermelons earns .0016 per click or $1.86 for 1,161 clicks and counting...
Health Benefits of Eating Bananas earns .00179 per click or $1.84 for its 1027 clicks and counting...

It's honestly surprising for me to know that Healthmad articles alone have earn higher rates than Expertscolumn articles which is .0015cents. I also checked the rates of Gameolosophy, Quazen and Socyberty since I have a few in those sites. It turns out that Gameolosophy articles earn us about .0017cents per view; Quazen, .0007cents and Socyberty, .0010cents.

Given these rates, I will choose to write health and gaming articles with Triond and the rest with Expertscolumn. I hope this simple analysis helps you decide which site to write for, as well.

Writing online for money? So am I!

Do you enjoy writing online for money? Me, yes especially now that I just received December's payment from Triond. If you're still wondering whether the site is paying or otherwise, here's a proof to you that Triond pays.

I've been writing for Triond since October 2010. I'm writing online for me and I am enjoying it. However, it is not always fun and joy. Increasing views and traffic for my Triond articles are both fun and frustrating, actually. Sometimes the pay is great; sometime it is not. It's typical for someone writing online for money, I guess.

See, I received my first payment in Triond after more than 2 months after my first ever article. 2 long and boring months. That is frustrating! I didn't know what I was doing online. I didn't know what writing online for money means. All I knew was that there is money online. There is money in writing.  I thought that Triond may be one of my gateways to do just that. And indeed it is. Triond helped me make money online.

Writing online for money is not as hard nor as easy as what others would say. It really depends on one's passion, one's skill and one's time. I learned that writing online for money takes more than just the writing skill; though it starts there. Writing online for money is a learning process where one needs to learn several SEO techniques here and there in order to get article links noticed by search engines, by forums, by other writing sites. Writing online for money is a hobby (or a career) that needs a audience. The bigger the audience, the bigger the money.

Writing online for money will help me earn $100, $300, $500 and even thousands in a month. One day, you'll see. ;) This is how I would like to rake money from the internet, writing.

Right now, Triond and Expertscolumn are the 2 sites that help my writing online for money dream a reality. $13.74 today, $1374.00 tomorrow; perhaps and even $13,740.00 in the future. Yeap, that's the dream!

Now, we like writing online for money as well? How is it, so far?

Republish Articles to Get Ahead: Good or Bad Idea?

Do you republish articles to different publishing sites? At the moment, I don't republish articles.

I'm not against it. I'm even encouraging other freelance writers to do so since that means extra views and money for their works. To republish articles in Wikinut, Bukisa or Expertscolumn, is like hitting 2 and even more birds in one stone. There are several free article publishing sites that currently allow one to republish articles to other sites.

On the other hand, I am reserving my right to do so (at the moment). I'm writing for Triond and Expertscolumn. Though, I know I can easily click republish articles (a.k.a. copy-paste) from Triond to the other site, something tells me not too. Perhaps it’s because I am still enjoying the thrill of writing.

It’s not a matter of moral standards, as well. I am writing online for money, first of all. When I see an opportunity online, I would often grab it. Publishing articles that I have in Triond really sound appealing; however, I'll keep on writing original content and NOT republish articles for now. I know I can republish all my articles in the future, anyway. Lol! There's no rush.

Besides, I’m challenging myself not to succumb to the hype of article republishing. I’d like to share original contents as long as I can. I’m more into finding ways to promote my works and learning SEO techniques to get organic views.

In light of writing money, there are certainly many ways to make money online. Republish articles is definitely one of those. If you plan to republish articles though, make sure that the Terms of Service (TOS) of your article publisher or websites allows you to do so. In the case of Helium for instance, it has a 1 year hold period before you may republish articles from them elsewhere.

A Dollar A Day in Triond! Wouldn't it be nice?

Every now and then, I earn a dollar in a day in Triond. Each time feels like the first time, too. Below is a screenshot of one of my lucky, happy days!

There is a sense of thrill to freelance writers with no professional experience like me, to actually make good money in writing online. And a dollar a day is good money, I tell you! If done everyday, wouldn't that mean 30 dollars online?

Earning a dollar a day every day is actually one of my goals in Triond. I keep on searching and try new SEO techniques in order to get more of the organic views. This kind of view is the one coming from search engines like google.com, google.com.uk, google.com.ph, bing, yahoo.com, yahoo.com.ph... (You get the picture right?) That's why I got excited to see some of these sites in my top referring sites. I shared that in one of my earlier posts here, actually. However fun and rewarding, I know that I still need to improve my daily methods of operation in Triond in order to increase those views. So... I tried the advise I read from oneone of the articles of a Triond member.

Want to increase your Triond earnings, too? Try this...

1. Make the title of your articles catchy. For example, I changed my "Getting Rid of Stretch Marks" article to "How to Get Rid of Stretch Marks Fast!" and my Negative Calories in the Foods our Diets, I changed to "For Faster Weight Loss: Add Negative Calorie Foods in Your Diets".

2. I added 3 backlinks at the end of my each of my articles. Those article links should be related to that particular article they are reading, of course. This way, my readers have easier options to check what are the other articles I have. When they click it.. it's ca$hing! ca$hing! for me and new learning for my readers. hihihihi..

Let me give you an example. For my Fruit Ninja article, I added these few lines.
"You liked this? You may also be interested in these articles below:
-Health Benefits of Running Exercises
-Healthy Ways of Losing Weight
-Negative Calorie Foods in our Diets"

Easy right?

If you're writing for Triond, or perhaps in any other writing site, try these few tricks. Then, let's hope it gets you additional views. ;)

Returning Comments to Triond Responders

I can't believe it took me several hours to return all the comments I received in my articles. Well...scratch that! I CAN believe it. I hadn't return the comments of my fellow writers in a long time (several weeks, actually); that's why it took me a while to finish.

Why do I return comments? Simply because I feel it's the right thing to do. Whether if it's a simple "Good job." or "Excellent work on this."; I'm sure the Triond writers would appreciate their comments to my articles be returned to theirs. It is just fair, I suppose.

It's not a question of how to get views really, (although, it helps sometimes). I just feel that I need to return the good things given to me by the Triond community. I know how it takes time and effort to write a comment on one's article. It is just proper to give back and return the favor. Writing online for money is more fun when fellow writers help each other in getting views, getting noticed in the web and ultimately getting online income.

While it took me more than 4 hours (half of the daily working time in an office work lol); it feels gratifying later on to know that all the comments I received are properly returned to their rightful writers. We make money by writing and most of the time, make new friends, as well. That is how it should be, I think.

And that is another reason why I feel writing for Triond is fun. Its community is very active, unlike some of the writing sites I know. I enjoy communicating with my fellow writers, even if it's just a simple hi or hello; or in this case, "Nice work" or "Great post!".

Do you do the same? Why not try returning the favors you receive from the Triond community. See how it will better your reputation as a writer; see how it will affect your views and earnings; and see how it helps give exposure to your written articles. Wink! Wink!

Article Writing - Done! What's next?!?

Earlier this month, I set a goal for myself to write at least 20 Triond articles for November. Thank goodness, I was able to make it.

Freelance writers like me, who are not employed to write and with no specific company to write for, need to make goals in writing for money. Writing for Triond has become one of my well-paid hobbies online; and I'd like to be better at it each and every time. That is the very reason why I set this goal in the first place. And I am just happy to see it through.

This month, I've set to put writing online first; and promoting them later. Now that I have reached my 20-mark goal, I can proceed in seeking way on how to get views. Writing for Triond is just as easy (or as hard - how ever, you would like to perceive it) as getting Triond views. I believe that long-time writers can make good money in Triond by promoting 80% of the time and writing only 20%. However, for a new writer, it should be the other way around - that's 80% writing; while promoting 20% of the time. That is just my theory, though. Prove me right or prove me wrong.

Anyway, speaking of getting the links out there, I am promoting my Triond links to Stumbleupon as I write this article. It's rather easy once you have a system. I know that I need to learn more of the SEO techniques to get organic views. But for now, I am enjoying the views from social sites like Stumbleupon, Facebook and Twitter. I do get a few views from google.com and bing.com. They are overwhelming for someone like me; but I need to know how to increase them. There has got to be a way. Any tips, guys? :)

Moving on.. my next step is to gather traffic and views. I still have half the month to figure out how to increase my money in Triond. I'm thinking of using Digg and Reddit.com. Perhaps I can make good money from these sites, too. I will definitely let you know.

Thank you Triond for my October Payment

Thank you Triond for my October payment.

I can say once more that... I make money writing! hahahah!

I'm happy with my 15 bucks online income. I used to get 50 cents from this site so this is rather a big payday for me. More so, I got about the same amount last month when Triond gave me a 30% bonus for writing at least 20 articles. This October, I wrote was able to publish just 3, and here I get about the same cash money! Yay me!

Last October, I focused on how to get Triond views rather than writing for Triond. Writing online for money requires online promotion and marketing as well. That's where SEO techniques come in. I mostly use social media like Facebook, Twitter and Stumbleupon in promoting my Triond links. I need to broaden my SEO knowledge in order to make good money in Triond, though. I am very happy with how things are going with me in this site. Still, I am looking for way to improve my stats. I'm always looking for ways to better myself and my online income.

This month of November, I'm thinking of writing for Expertscolumn, as well. I plan to leave Triond backlinks in my Expertscolumn article.  I like to make money by writing; but I don't like copy-pasting my works from one site to another. (Although that is totally allowed with EC.) Anyway, I plan to write a 300-word article for my Triond articles (also with a minimum of 300 words) in order to multiply my readership and views and online money through writing.

I use beingwell in EC, too in case your wondering. hahaha! If you are ever there, feel free to read some of my articles. You know I'll earn a few cents whenever you view my works.

So there! Once more, all my thanks for Triond. More power to yah!

My Goal is to make 20 Triond Articles this November

This month, I am not going to worry on how to get Triond views. October was all about promoting Triond links. I focused on ways on how to get views. This month however, I plan to add at least 20 Triond articles on my portfolio. This month's all about writing!

Increasing views and traffic involve good contents to be promoted online. Freelance writers need to balance writing for money and promoting to get more money. And that's my simple plan this November - write good contents.

I finally got my 100 Badge. I plan to get the next badge, which is 200. Here's a screenshot of the e-mail Triond sent me when I reached a hundred. It was a fun day for me.hihihi...

And so, I have a new feat at hand! Instead of going for that next hundred in one go; I plan to make it as fun and as doable as possible (which should always be the case). One thing I learned in making money online is that is should always be fun first! Otherwise, we all lose interest, especially when the pay starts with a few cents. So what if Triond didn't announce any challenge this month. I am challenging myself, for whatever it's worth. hahaha!

If you plan to make good money in Triond, I suggest you do the same. Balance writing (good articles) and promoting them. It doesn't have to be drastic, my friends. Just remember to keep it simple and reachable so that it be will fun for you and your readers. You'll see how far it will take you. My favorite motto in life is to do this slowly and yet surely. It applies to all sort of things; and yes even on the different ways to make money online.

That's it for now. You can cheer me anytime. hehehe...

How Cool are my Top Referring Sites! :P

How cool indeed! I have Facebook, StumbleUpon, Yahoo!, Google, Bing and Redgage in my Top Referring Sites for the last 30 days. It seems I'm getting better in increasing views and traffic with Triond. I don't know how long it will hold, of course. That's why I'm happy this is happening.

Earning online income by writing is fun for me. I get to use SEO techniques that I only read from other blogs and articles. I also learn some techniques of my own through online social groups that I'm a member of. I know that I still have a lot to learn; but what I've learned in my online earning searches, I can share with you guys today.

First thing's first though. If you're new to Triond, how to get views should not be your number 1 concern. First, you need to make articles. It's like what my tag above says, Write. Promote. Make money. Haha! Now, write at least 5-10 articles in a month. If you don't write, you don't have anything to promote. How can you make money from there? And don't tell me you're good in getting referrals? That should be the farthest from your worries at this point.

As incentives, Triond usually gives challenges to writers wherein they get additional 10%, 20% or 30% bonus when they reach a certain number of articles for a particular month. But.... it seems that we don't have it for this month. Let's wait for December, in this case. Now when you've got a good number of articles it's time to promote.

How to get Triond views from the sites I've mentioned above? The first thing you would need is an audience. Where to get those? For starters, in Triond, of course! I will never get tired of this advise. Work the community you are in, whether its Triond or any other writing or social site. The members are most probably willing to help. 90% of the time, when you help other members, they help themselves as well in getting traffic. So, knock-knock-knock on your neighbors' doors.

Just remember: DO NOT SPAM! Never do this or you'll get a bad rep among the community. No one likes that.

Do this for 2-4 weeks and be amazed with how your views and earnings would go up!

10k Triond Views This Month! Well done, me! :)

How to get Triond views used to be difficult for me. A hundred visitors in one month seemed to be so hard to get before. Thanks to my Triond and online friends, I learned to increased that batting rate to a much, much higher percentage. This month, I am happy to see the 10,000++ views I have for my 98 articles.

Happy me! :)

I have to admit, writing online for money is becoming a lot more exciting these past days. Writing for Triond is proving to be a good move. I've come a long way in my search for online income - from paid to clicks to paid to posts and finally, to becoming a freelance writer.

Writing for Triond is just half of the challenge. Getting traffic is the other half. If you're new to Triond, I suggest to start working with its community. There are many Triond writers who are willing to help our newcomers. I know because I got my first ever 1000 views from the Triond community.

Let's go back to my accumulated views for this month. See, I think I only know 5% of the SEO techniques. 5%? That's nothing compared to what professional online promoters and marketers use. However, I make sure I use this 5% to maximize my Triond views and earnings. While there are so many ways to make money online (by writing or by any other means), I believe that what I know NOW may deliver optimum results when done continuously without fail. I say, consistency is essential in increasing views and traffic.

So, my advise to you is this. Whatever you're doing now to get Triond views, continue doing it. And if you haven't started building up your views yet, start with the Triond community. Add friends; comment on their articles; and ask them to do the same for you. Do this for a week or 2 and you'll see some great improvements in your views and earnings.

Ciao!

Dealing with Writer's Block in Triond No More!

Writer's block is common to mostly all writers, freelance writers, newbies and professional alike. It's not something to hide or be ashamed of. It just happens. We make money writing articles and contents for different sites. It's therefore important for us to always have something to write about.

Writing for Triond for the past months, I learned some tricks along the way in order to be prepared in times of this kind of draught. Perhaps these tips may be handy for you as well.

1. When ideas come, they come in bulk. You may want to write about blogging tips in one time; then some ideas SEO techniques may pop out of nowhere; then another idea, and then another. When this time comes, put all these ideas in your bucket list and pin them for the moment.

Finish the article you first thought of, which is this case is presumed to be about tips on blogging. Go through your list one at a time. Before you know it, you've written a couple of articles with even some more ideas to spare for your next writing session.

2. You can also create a list of draft articles in Triond by putting in temporary titles, like the ones below you. These are my draft articles with nothing in them. When I feel like writing, I just go and pick up any of these so I can start with my work.

3. Write first with your heart; then with your mind. This means don't be too conscious of what you write and how you write your articles. Let your heart speak first by way of a draft. Put everything you think of in a notepad or word file; then edit them later. Fix the line of thought in your story. Then, correct your grammar. And finally, plug in your keywords.

4. Write things that interests you. Writing for money would be so much easy in Triond when the writer is actually interested to what s/he is writing about. For example, I enjoy eating healthy foods. Since I want to know the nutrients I get from the foods I eat; I tend to write about them. I also enjoy playing games with my phone and on my computer, so I write about them, too. This takes off the burden from creating the articles in my mind. Plus, you'll slowly create a niche of your own; and earning money online by writing wouldn't be so hard.

5. Write about the things that surround you. Are you into electronic? Write a review on phones and laptop computers. Are you into housekeeping? Write about the what's and the how's of maintaining a house and a home. When you strike something that interests you, it's impossible not to think of another idea, and another, and another. In this case, do the suggest in no. 1.

If you follow the tips above, it would be hard not fall into the writer's block pit. But if you still do, I suggest to take a break for a few hours. Relax. You'll soon find an inspiration to write about.

Online income is easy when you have a system. - a system for writing and for promoting. One needs to work it, like in every thing else. Writing online for money is more fun with some simple guides, believe me. While there are plenty of ways to make money online; making money by writing is my favorite thing.

I hope these tips help in some way.

Happy earning everyone!

How I Started with Triond

Making money with Triond is actually really easy. You don't have to pay for anything. All you need is a paypal account and time - Time to write articles; time to promote articles.

What to write?
Triond hosts a number of writing sites. Members write and Triond publishes the articles according to their subject matters and/or topics. Each site pays a different rate per click or view. What you want to write for are topics that pay more. These include health articles on Healthmad, gaming articles on Gameolosophy, or factual articles on Scienceray. Gomestic, Quazen, Beyond Jane and Socyberty also pay high rates.

Those that pay less include Notecook, Cinemaroll and AThingForCars. As much as I love writing recipe articles for Notecook, I choose not to.

There are many other sites, but these are the ones I know.

How to promote?
Promoting your articles will eat up time. There are many ways and techniques to do so. Truth is, some are effective; some , not so. I've tried several ways to get views, and I'd like to share them with you so you don't waste your time with trial and error. Also, some techniques works for others; some don't. So you really need to know which one works for you. There's one thing for sure, though. You will need time.

If you're new in Triond, first thing to do is add Triond friends. Triond community is very active and are mostly very welcoming in viewing and commenting on your articles. That's as long as you view and comment theirs. That's where you will need the time for. There are many way to get views in Triond itself. Let's pin this topic for the mean time, so I can put more thought into it.

Social bookmarks and social sites are great ways to get views for your articles. Want to increase views? Get a free Twitter, StumbleUpon, Diggit and Facebook account for starters. Gather people with the same interest as yours so you get an audience for your views. Let me dig into more in this in a separate article, as well.

For now, this is all my friend!

Writing for Triond

Triond is a publishing website that allows its members to share their works online. It caters to write-ups, video media and as well as photo arts.

Since I am not a skill or trained writer, Triond works for me. I find working with it fun and exciting. Compared to other writing sites (like Shvoong, Hubpages or Squidoo), I spend more time with Triond because of its active community, one thing you need in order to start earning money for this site.

Here is my tool in writing with Triond. You'll see my works in Healthmad, Notecook, Gameolosophy and Cinemaroll, among others.

I have been a Triond writer since October 2010. I have to admit that my first earnings here could hardly buy me a meal. It was less than a dollar in fact; and I got it after three months with the site. Naturally, I felt discouraged at first. Good thing a friend inspired me with your Triond views. I thought to myself, that it is doable to make a decent money here, if only I'd learn how.

And since then, I searched and research for ways of how to increase my Triond views and earnings.

In this blogsite, I will share with you how to do just that. I have no intention of keeping the "how's" and tricks in Triond for myself. I'd be happy to share with you what I know.

That's it for now.
